From working on Assignment 5, I learned a lot of new skills. I had no idea, I could add the next, previous and home buttons to a slide. I learned how to do that, and how to add it to each slide page and how to make it actually work. I also learned how to link a work or text to take you directly to another page. I think this is a super cool and useful too that I will most definitely be using in my teaching career. I got a 5 on the assignment, so I would not change anything, but I think if I was to redo this, I would add more questions and probably a more in depth on the answer explantation as to why it was wrong or right.

I like the idea of using data collection tools in my future classroom. Depending on what age I work with, would define how I use the data collection tool. If I end up teaching high school and or college level, I would most definitely use these to put out surveys that relay to what we are learning about, or about standardized testing. If I worked with elementary or younger, I would use these to get feedback on spelling exams or reading exams, to see what my students needed help in or clarification on right after taking the exam. Or I would send them to parents for questions, or to get information about the parents like phone numbers, available times to speak, general feelings about the classroom and teaching and more.

In reviewing my classmates blogs, I found it really interesting to read about how everyone felt using Weebly. From what I read, the reviews about using it were mixed. It was not like everyone either loved or hated it, but that it was evenly distributed as to who liked it. I found that interesting because I enjoyed using it, once I got the hang of it, so I figured most people would like it because it was fairly easy to use. I was surprised by the reviews I read about it.

Personally I love the tech-flexs and the digital badges. I find them not only fun to do, because they are usually creating something, but because I can do them and then use the badges to fix assignments, or use it as a pass. I am most definitely using these in my future classroom. I love how they are totally optional, but if you do them, you get rewarded. I absolutely love the idea of this and will most definitely be incorporating these into my future classroom.

The next technology skill I want to learn is how to use Canvas from a teacher side, or Blackboard or other online learning systems like we use. I want to learn how to upload modules, and papers, and tests and make them honor-locked for students. I think learning about the other side of Canvas would be really interesting and a good skill to learn.
